Barnardo’s have been commissioned by Bristol City Council to provider support for children and families, and professionals across Bristol:

  • Therapeutic support for children and young people with an opportunity to explore and process difficult emotions surrounding their parent’s imprisonment. The service is accessed through a referral from social care.
  • Training for practitioners across Bristol to understand the impact of having a parent in custody and how practitioners can support families.
  • A practitioner network in Bristol offering workshops and resources.
